European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sopra Steria, a technology consulting and digital transformation multinational company, plans to create about 1300 new IT and support positions during 2020. This announcement comes with the steady growth for the company in 2019, which was 15% higher than forecasted. Currently, Spain is the fifth market of the firm in turnover and the third in the number of employees. The company has increased its activity mostly in digital transformation projects for Banking and Insurance sector, in addition to technology consulting activities in all sectors.
