European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German-owned supplier of IT services for the financial sector GFT Poland, a subsidiary of GFT Technologies, has announced that it will create 210 new jobs at its units in Łódź and Poznań, Poland. The company received a grant from the Ministry of Development in the amount of PLN 2,3 million (€524,419 as at 24 August 2020) for the opening of 210 research and development positions; these include 135 roles in Łódź and another 75 positions that will be created in Poznań, Poland. GFT is looking for specialists who will carry out highly advanced tasks for global financial institutions, as well as for the insurance sector and industry.
GFT Poland is a part of GFT group which provides IT services to the ten largest banks in the world. The group was founded in 1987 and operates in 13 countries. GFT (former Rule Financial) has been operating in Poland since 2007. Currently, GFT has four offices in Poland (Poznań, Łódź, Kraków and Warszawa) and employs over 850 specialists, including 500 in the city of Łódź and 230 in Poznań.
