Thermo Fisher Scientific, a company active in the production of tools, materials and software for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, will hire more than 200 employees over the next 12-24 months. These workers will join the current workforce of the Ferentino plant, which counts currently 900 employees.
The expansion is part of a global investment to develop sterile pharmaceuticals and commercial production of essential drugs, therapies and vaccines. The site will also house a new 2,600 square meters development building and will include a flexible, highly automated, line for small-scale commercial development and production projects that will be operational in 2022.
