European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish provider of solutions, technologies, and services for the mining, metallurgical and recycling industries Metso Outotec announced that it will cut up to 160 jobs worldwide, including 60 positions in Finland. The company is to reorganise its Metals business as part of its transformation programme which aims to improve competiveness as well as financial and organisational effectiveness. Under the programme, Metso Outotec expects to save €15 million. The impact of the restructuring on different employee groups will be determined during the first quarter of 2021.
