Finnish manufacturer of faucets Oras has announced that it will increase its workforce at the unit in Olesno by 15% within the next two years. The business expansion implies that new production halls will be launched as well 57 new jobs to be created between 2021 and 2023. The expansion is related to the company’ decision to relocate some operations from Finland to the unit in Poland. Oras plans to invest €1.5 million in the project. Local authorities welcomed the step.
Oras was founded in Finland in 1945. The company has its production facilities in the Czech Republic, Poland and Finland, employing 1,400 people. The company has been operating in Poland since 1998; currently, the Olesno facility employs 380 staff.
