Description
Volvo Trucks Ghent, the Belgian Volvo facility specialised in the production of trucks, has announced that it will hire 350 additional employees for its facility. The recovering economy, especially the growing demand in e-commerce sector, is seen as one of the main drivers behind the expansion, as this has led to an increased demand in trucks.
Update on 18/05/2021: Volvo Trucks Ghent released an additional announcement a few weeks later. Given the increased demand for truck and construction machine parts, the company will recruit another 38 employees to work in the company warehouse, in addition to the original job creation plan. This will lead to a total of 383 vacancies for Volvo Trucks.
