Description
Founded in 2018, the digital football card platform Sorare has raised a further USD 680 million in funding, following on from the €500 million raised in June 2021, which will enable it to recruit 100 employees within a year.
Sorare has developed a game platform where football fans can collect cards and play with official football-related crypto-goods. The game is based on the latest Ethereum blockchain standards and the performance of virtual teams is determined by the performance of real players in national and international competitions. At the moment, the company employs around 20 people.
