European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Liberty Ostrava, a Czech metallurgical company, is planning to increase the volume of production of seamless pipes intended for the extraction and transport of oil, and therefore is hiring over 100 new employees. The recruitment campaign has already begun. The expansion is aimed at re-supplying the US market, which had been closed to the company by import duties introduced in 2018 by President Donald Trump. The company offers above-standard salaries and benefits. New employees of the pipe plant will be entitled to a recruitment allowance of up to CZK 35,000 (€ 1,380) and benefits such as quarterly and annual bonuses, insurance allowance, 25 days of leave.
Liberty Ostrava supplies its products to more than 40 countries around the world and has 6,000 employees.
