European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American Express, the multinational credit card and other financial products company, has announced the establishment of its European headquarters in Madrid, from where it will support the markets in which the company operates. This announcement involves the creation of more than 400 jobs in Spain by 2022. These new employees will receive specific training for their new responsibilities: support growth in Europe and perform a range of key functions for the company, including commercial services, customer service, legal compliance, and data control teams.
