European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Telecommunications multinational company, based in Spain, Telefónica has announced the creation of 840 jobs worldwide, 179 in Spain (150 at the Madrid headquarters). The job offers are already available on its website, so the effect of this expansion is immediate. The main positions offered are Retail Advisor, engineers and sales managers. The positions usually require specialized studies, ranging from economics to technical engineering or web development. This expansion comes after the announcement of a workforce adjustment plan in the company in 2021.
