European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ekonovus, one of the largest waste management companies in Lithuania, is to create around 250 new jobs in Vilnius in 2022. The company has won a tender and will take care of public spaces in 10 Vilnius districts, where almost half of Vilnius city residents live. According to the management, in order to be able to take care of such a big territory, the company will hire an additional 250 employees. Currently the company employs 490 employees.
Ekonovus is a waste management company that specializes in the collection of household, construction and packaging and hazardous wastes. The sorting capacity of secondary raw materials, packaging and manufacturing waste of Ekonovus reaches 5000 tons/month.
