Multinational promotional products manufacturer National Pen will lay off 100 people, due to the closure of the company’s ‘Fulfilment Operations Centre’ in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The redundancies will begin in January 2023. National Pen plans to move the fulfilment of European orders to a facility in the Czech Republic in order to ensure faster delivery to its core customer base across mainland Europe. The American group's international headquarters and contact centre in Dundalk where 240 people are employed will not be affected. National Pen stated that it will offer an attractive redundancy package.
National Pen is a multinational company mainly operating in the United States, Europe and Canada. A previous announcement was recorded on the ERM database in 2020, with 176 job cuts.
