European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Austrian subsidy of the German chip manufacturer Infineon has opened a new production plant on its grounds in Villach (south of Austria), creating 400 new jobs. The fully automated production line will contribute to meet the increasing demand of microchips and requires additional stuff for maintainance, control, research and development.
