European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Vinçotte, the largest Belgian private inspection and certification provider, announced it will be hiring 150 new employees. It is looking for safety inspectors and consultants. The main driver behind the need for additional workforce is an increasing demand for inspection from companies that deal with green energy. Infrastructures like wind turbines, solar panels, electric cars and charging stations need to be certified for the installations and checked. Given the specific nature of these professions, Vinçotte has difficulty in finding enough qualified employees. The company is organising agreements with educational institutions to offer lectures, internships, to reach out students for making the profession attractive.
Vinçotte is a Belgian inspection and certification company, founded in 1873. It operates in the Benelux countries.
