European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Dutch non-food discounter chain Action, which is specialised in the sale of low-priced goods and products, has announced a recruitment day to recruit 200 employees for its 65 retail shops in the Grand Est region - including those in Metz, Nancy, and Strasbourg. Action wants to recruit assistant shop managers and shop employees on full-time employment contracts, as well as work-study contracts (around ten) and seasonal positions for students.
Action recruits its employees using a simulation-based recruitment method in order to measure their skills: the method allows the candidate to immerse himself in a simulation of his future work.
Action employs 14,000 people in France across 650 stores.
