European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
K-Line, France's leading manufacturer of aluminum windows, sliding doors and entry doors, has announced the recruitment of 370 people by 2023. Some positions have to be filled immediately: 100 for its five factories located around its headquarters in Les Herbiers (Vendée) and 20 people for its site in Saint-Vulbas (Ain). The 120 positions to be filled immediately are those of machine operators, carpenters, logistics operators, forklift truck drivers and maintenance technicians. The company is building a sixth plant in Les Herbiers, which will be completed by the end of 2022. Production there will start in September 2023 and the company will hire 250 employees from the end of 2022 to run this new production site.
The company's turnover reached €428 million in 2021, an increase of 20% compared to 2020. Its business is growing in all markets: new construction, housing renovation, creation of multi-family housing and office property. Recruitment is becoming more difficult due to a growing labour shortage in the region. It currently employs 1,400 people in France.
A former recruitment was recorded in the ERM Database with 350 job creations in 2018 (K-line-2018-FR).
