Schneider Electric, the French energy management and automation company, is planning to create 100 new jobs until mid 2023 at its factory in Plovdiv. The jobs will be created as a result of a planned 60 million Euro investment in its Bulgarian factory to increase the production volume by 30%. The area of the plant will be increased and three new production lines will be opened.
Currently, Schneider Electric's factory in Plovdiv produces over 40 million automatic circuit breakers per year, distributed worldwide. The company has been present in Bulgaria since 1990 and opened its factory in 2007.
