European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Safran Power Units, specialized in auxiliary power units for civil and military aircraft, has announced the recruitment of around one hundred employees by the end of 2023 at its site in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne).
The company currently employs 470 people at this site; moreover 60 employees are based in the United States. These recruitments are in line with the increase in production rates related the construction programme for the military fighter aircraft Rafale produced by the Dassault Aviation group, whose order book is growing.
Safran Power Units has achieved a turnover of approximately €100 million in 2021 and anticipates 50% growth in 2022. Since 2019, the site has been designated as a 'centre of excellence' dedicated to fuel cells by the Safran group. Around 30 people work directly on this activity and the number of employees is expected to grow by 40% by 2025.
