Description
The German group Hager, which is specialised in the manufacture of equipment for electrical installations, has announced the recruitment of 150 employees for its factory in Obernai (Bas-Rhin). Hager has invested more than €54 million in this factory in recent years. To recruit, it organised a job dating event on 23 and 24 September. The long-term objective is to increase production capacity of the site by 50%.
The company will provide training to the new employees. It also stresses the difficulty of recruiting in an area with a low unemployment rate (3.5%).
Hager currently employs 2,100 people at Obernai. Early this year Hager announced to recruit 50 people in Bischwiller (Hager-2022-FR).
