Kaufland Bulgaria, the biggest retail chain in Bulgaria, has announced that it is opening 100 full-time jobs at its newest hypermarket in Gorublyane, Sofia. This is the chain's thirteenth hypermarket in Sofia and the 63rd in the country. For Kaufland Bulgaria, this is the first site built in accordance to the company's latest standards for environmentally and energy efficient construction. It brings together all the eco-innovations introduced in recent years at Kaufland, the company emphasizes. The investment is worth BGN 35 million (EUR 18 million).
Since the beginning of the year, Kaufland Bulgaria has recruited 200 new people, thus establishing a workforce of 6,600 employees in Bulgaria.
In 2014, Kaufland hired 100 people in Kardzhali (Kaufland-2014-BG).
