European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ebm-papst Slovenija, the German manufacturer of small electrical motors and fans for household appliances, announced the creation of 100 jobs in 2023. Most new employment will involve production workers, production team leaders and machine setters.
The company started to produce heat pump fans in February 2022 when the new production programme required the employment of 70 workers (Ebm-papst 2022 -SI). The production is expanding since the demand for these fans was higher than initially expected due to natural gas shortages.
Business enlargement will create 100 more jobs over the next year and another expansion is planned for 2024. As a result, the company is already looking for land for a new plant.
The company currently employs 610 workers.
