Description
Medicover, a Swedish group specialised in the provision of diagnostic and healthcare services has opened a multidisciplinary hospital Bucharest and plans to hire 230 people by the end of 2024. The new Medicover unit was built with an investment of €31 million and covering an area of 22,000 square meters, of which 15,000 square meters are reserved for medical premises. The company already employs 170 people at the new hospital.
Medicover Group owns about 1 million square meters of medical premises, of which almost 10% are in Romania. The medical space owned by Medicover in Romania has increased by 30% in the last year.
The company has a network of 41 clinics in Bucharest and in the country, and five general hospitals in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca (Cluj County), Oradea (Bihor County) and Craiova (Craiova County), 25 on-site clinics and more than 250 partner medical units.
By December 2022, the company had a workforce of 552 employees in Romania.
