Neverhack (formerly Pr0ph3cy), which is specialised in cybersecurity consultancy and services, has been acquired by the American Carlyle Group. The takeover enables the company to continue its international expansion, and it will recruit 300 people in France over the next 18 months, mainly consultants, level 3 SOC analysts, cybersecurity architects, pen testers, IAM experts, etc. Carlyle has announced that it wants to invest 'at least €100 million in the French start-up.
The company is expected to achieve sales of €70 million in 2023, and employs 600 people worldwide - including around 370 consultants - where it has 9 offices in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Rennes, Toulouse, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Belgium, Germany and Canada.
