Swedish state-owned electricity company Vattenfall has hired 115 people in its electricity distribution department Vattenfall Eldistribution, in September. The company's plan is to recruit in total 600 new employees in several functions by 2024.
The recruitments are linked to the company's major investment in skills to electrify society, enable the transformation of industry and transport and connect more fossil-free energy.
Vattenfall is an energy company operating in European countries, such as in the Nordic countries, Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlands. Vattenfall Eldistribution employs 1,500 people. Last year, the company has recruited 270 new employees.
