European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The candy manufacturer Sfinx, which belongs to the Swiss multinational Nestlé, is expanding production at its plant in Holešov, creating 100 new jobs.
Due to the expansion of production, the plant will hire almost 100 employees by the end of 2024, starting in 2023. The production of the plant will almost double, from the current 16,000 tons per year to approximately 29,500 tons.
From 2024, Sfinx will become the only Nestlé factory producing candy in Europe. The largest part of exports in products produced in Holešov goes to Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Australia and Taiwan.
