European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Renault automotive group has announced the recruitment of 150 employees over three years as part of the conversion of its assembly site in Flins into a centre dedicated to the circular economy (reconditioning of used vehicles, recycling and hydrogen). The aim is to strengthen skills in preparation for the future arrival of new activities. The jobs will be offered on open-ended contracts. The company is seeking operators, field managers and engineers. Temporary employees currently working at the site will be given priority for these positions. The Flins site has 1,938 employees, over 90% of whom work on vehicle reconditioning. The conversion will take effect at the end of March 2024, when the last Zoé produced at Flins since 2012 is due to come off the production line.
