Description
The Nordic third party logistics operator PostNord TPL has given notice to 75 out of its 260 warehouse employees in Helsingborg, Sweden. Cooperation negotiations are ongoing.
All six terminals at Postnord TPL in Helsingborg are affected by the layoffs. According to a company representative, the company's decision is based on the challenging business environment they operate in, where PostNord TPL's business is affected by the decreasing logistics volumes of their clients.
Postnord TPL is part of the PostNord Group and has operations in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. It has in total around 1,500 employees in Sweden. The company group laid off 300 people, mainly in Sweden, in the beginning of 2023 (Postnord 2023 - SE).
