Agristo, the biggest frozen fries producer in Belgium plans to start operating a fourth production line at its headquarters in Wielsbeke and the expansion is expected to generate around 50 new jobs. The new production line will add to the existing three lines established since the factory's opening in 2018. While the total number of employees for the company is currently around 300. The exact cost of the expansion is unknown as plans are still being finalized. However, the company management states it involves several million euros.
The expansion is part of a larger effort of the company to advance to the top five fries and potato specialities producers in the world.
