The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lidl, the renowned German retail chain, will hire 100 new employees. The company has strategically expanded its presence in Italy by inaugurating five new stores across various regions, representing a significant investment of approximately €50 million. This expansion is set to generate 100 new employment opportunities, contributing positively to the local job market.
These new outlets are housed in structures that adhere to stringent environmental sustainability criteria, embodying the commitment to zero land consumption, as these projects predominantly repurpose former industrial sites and use energy efficiency.
