Eko-Okna, a window manufacturer, will open a factory in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, where it will employ 1000 people by the end of 2024 and a total of 3000 once fully operational. The new factory, the company's third plant, joins existing plants in Kornice and Wodzisław Śląski (recently opened) and includes production lines, warehouses and offices; the new facility will mainly produce woodwork. The first phase of recruitment is ongoing, aiming to employ 500 people initially, with an additional 500 by the end of 2024, culminating in 3000 employees once fully operational. The roles to be filled include primarily production line, technical, quality and service staff, transport, logistics, and factory operations staff, as well as office staff, machine and forklift operators. Eko-Okna S.A. is a Polish manufacturer of plastic building products based in Kornice, specialising in the production of PVC and aluminium window and door joinery.
