Description
Knowledge production and manufacturing company, Hanza, has announced that a total of 50 dismissals will take place, as a part of their efficiency programme. Hanza will dismiss 50 employees from their production unit in Ronneby, Sweden. This equals a fifth of the current employees.
Hanza newly bought the company Orbit One, and this programme is said to be part of the integration process of the two companies. The aim is to reallocate resources and optimize the workforce according to customer needs. In addition to improved profitability, these changes will make the acquired units less sensitive to market fluctuations.
Cooperation negotiations will soon commence with trade union representatives and adjustment measures will be offered to the affected staff.
Hanza is also considering a staff reduction in their unit in Prabuty, Poland.
