The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
IMED Hospitales, a Spanish hospital group, is opening 200 people for its new hospital in the city of Valencia. The new IMED Colón hospital opened on 9 April, with 32 rooms and 44 spaces for external consultations.
In this regard, IMED Colón is conceived as a hospital of proximity, providing the main medical-surgical specialties including specialised services in clinical analysis, a 24-hour emergency room with 7 boxes and an observation area, as well as two MRIs, CAT scans, digital radiology services, amongst other services.
The project has taken some three years and a total investment of 50 million Euros. The hospital is the second of the group in the province of Valencia and its first in the city of Valencia.
