The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The low-cost airline Transavia Airlines, a subsidiary of Air France-KLM group, is to acquire a dozen new aircraft this year and has announced the recruitment of 600 people in 2024. In detail, it is looking for around a hundred permanent ground positions (maintenance, revenue management, IT), plus around 30 work-study and another 30 internship positions. Previously this year, the French company have already hired 300 stewards and cabin crew, among them 180 work-study contracts. This trend demonstrates Transavia's commitment to expanding its workforce to meet increasing demands. In total, the company will hire 270 employees by the end of 2024 as we not take into account the 300 employees already hired and the 30 internship positions.
