Description
Enel, an Italian company in the energy sector, has revealed a three-year investment strategy focused on workforce expansion, committing approximately 12.2 billion euros. This initiative aims to address the energy transition by hiring around 1,200 new employees in 2024, with an additional 800 expected to join in subsequent years. The company is primarily seeking power grid operators, specialists in energy transition for managing renewable energy plants, and technicians skilled in the assembly and production of photovoltaic modules and cells.
The recruitment process will be conducted nationwide, with a significant portion, about one third, of the new hires located in the southern regions and islands. The primary goals of this investment are to enhance digitalisation, increase hosting capacity, and strengthen the resilience of the infrastructure.
