Description
The Fieratex S.A. company was founded in 1988 by the Anezoulakis family.
The company’s industrial facilities span 58 stremmata (approximately 14.3 acres) in Nea Santa, Kilkis. It was one of the leading textile companies in Greece, employing over 2,000 people in independent administration and management departments.
In recent years, the company has faced significant financial difficulties, stopped publishing its financial statements, reduced its workforce, and on June 5, the last 100 employees were placed on furlough.
On July 30, 2024, the company filed for bankruptcy at the primary Court of Kilkis, with the case scheduled to be heard on October 2, 2024. The remaining one hundred employees are expected to lose their jobs.
