The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Samodzielny Publiczny Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej w Lubartowie (SPZOZ Lubartów), a healthcare facility, has announced a reduction in its hospital staff by approximately 120 people.
The planned changes in the workforce are expected to bring savings to allow the facility to continue operating. The process is to last from 5 November to the end of December 2024. Mainly nurses are to be made redundant, but also midwives, paramedics, physiotherapists, doctors, room attendants, maintenance and administration staff; an additional 80 people are to be offered a change to their existing contract.
The trade unions are currently consulting on the redundancy process.
