Description
Sud-Ouest, a French daily newspaper, is planning to cut 118 jobs as part of its latest social plan, 20 of which involve journalists. After failing to reach an agreement, the editorial staff went on strike for the second time. This marks the fourth social plan the newspaper has implemented in the past 11 years.
As of 2024, Sud-Ouest employs 720 workers, including 250 journalists.
