European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Grupa Żabka, a chain of franchised convenience shops, will open a new logistics centre in Kąty Wrocławskie where it will employ 600 people. The new facility will replace the previous warehouse, which operates in Tyniec Mały near Wrocław, and will strengthen Grupa Żabka logistical capabilities by providing deliveries to the chain's more than 10 900 shops, as it will be 1.5 times larger than the previous centre. The facility is expected to open at the beginning of 2025 and will employ staff to support the logistics and operation of the facility. The Grupa Żabka is a leading retail chain, established in 1998. Żabka's logistics network currently includes 8 logistics centres and 19 transshipment terminals.
