Description

Aludyne Czech, a subsidiary of an American auto parts manufacturer, has announced the closure of its plant in the city of Ostrava and the layoff of all 331 workers. The operation of Aludyne Czech, which produced aluminum parts for the automotive industry, will end on March 31.

According to the group, it was not possible to find a market for the products of the Ostrava plant. The Aludyne Group (formerly Chassix) plant in the Contera Park Ostrava City industrial area in Ostrava-Kunčičky has been in operation since 2019.

The company produced castings for various car brands, such as Ford, Audi and BMW. The group also has plants in other European countries: Poland, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and France.
