Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Inoway, a battery materials producer, will open a new factory in Radzikowice, where it will initially employ 350 people. The Ionway factory will supply active CAM cathode material, which is used to make cathodes for electric car batteries; production is scheduled to start in the first half of 2026. The company will recruit in the production, maintenance and logistics departments, analytical laboratory and specialist and managerial positions; recruitment has already begun. Ionway is a joint venture between two companies: PowerCo, a Volkswagen Group battery manufacturer, and Umicore, a manufacturer of circular material technology.
