Food retail convenience company, BWG, is to create 600 new jobs in Ireland over the next three years, as part of a plan to develop existing and open new Spar stores across the country.
The company is to invest €30 million to open new stores and refurbish existing sites. It plans to grow its store network by 30 new stores between now and 2028. This will see the number of sites increase from 420 to 450.
The new roles will be in areas such as ready meals, food-to-go, deli, as well as retail roles.
