Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Private sector home care provider, Dovida, is to create 1,500 new jobs across Ireland by the end of 2025.
The company currently delivers care to almost 8,000 clients in Ireland and is expanding its services to support people living with an acquired brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and Motor neuron disease, as well as children and young adults with additional needs.
Recruitment for the new jobs, both full and part-time positions, has already begun and the company plans to have filled the vacancies by the end of the year.
Dovida is owned by the Swiss-based Horizon Group, which also has operations in France, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. It took over the Home Instead franchise business in 2023 and rebranded it to Dovida.
