Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG (MFAG), a German airport operator, has announced the reduction of up to 250 jobs at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports, particularly at management level. The measure is intended to stabilise the company's financial position due to declining passenger and flight numbers. It is part of a long-term restructuring strategy and should be completed by the end of 2026.
The reduction in staff is to be achieved primarily through natural fluctuation and other non-redundancy-related measures.
The trade union ver.di had criticised the development.
MFAG operates Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports and employs around 1,300 people
