School meal provider Food Village is to create 200 new jobs in county Longford, as it opens a new €3 million manufacturing site in Longford town.
The company is Ireland largest provider of school meals for second-level schools. The new facility will serve as a nationwide distribution hub for Food Village's hot school meals.
Recruitment has already begun for the new roles and positions include culinary production and kitchen staff, business development, logistics and distribution, mechanics, customer services, IT and HR.
