Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Kärcher, a German family-owned company that operates worldwide and is known for its high-pressure cleaners, floor care equipment, parts cleaning systems, wash water treatment, military decontamination equipment and window vacuum cleaners, announced the opening of the third plant Curtea de Arges (Arges County). The company invested €115 million, 30 people work at the new factory, but the company wants to reach around 150 employees by the end of 2025.
The third production plant in Romania is under the umbrella of CER Cleaning Equipment, the group's local production subsidiary.
In Romania, the company has a workforce of 1,300 persons.
