Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The Romanian company Alconor, specialized the production of water, soft drinks, and energy drinks announced its intention to hire 131 persons at Satu Mare plant, where it is expanding to producing dry pet food.
The total investment was €21.7 million, of which €3.1 million represents state aid granted under Government Decision 807/2014, dedicated to supporting investments with a major impact on the economy.
Over the past 20 years, Alconor Company has grown through investments of over €25 million in state-of-the-art technology, production and storage facilities, transportation, and software solutions. In 2014, Alconor expanded with a new production and storage platform located in Bucharest, where an automated production process is also implemented, in accordance with international standards and requirements.
In addition to manufacturing its own products, the company bottles private labels for the largest retailers in the Romanian market.
Currently, the company has a workforce of 435 people.
