European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Gelit, Italian company producing frozen food, will create 110 new jobs in Cisterna di Latina following city council approval of an expansion plan worth €55 million. The frozen food company received unanimous approval for facility expansion including new production plants and a photovoltaic system installation. The initiative will include both operational staff and administrative/technical positions.
Mayor of Cisterna di Latina announced the project during a council session attended by 15 councillors, describing the expansion as fundamental for strengthening the productive fabric and guaranteeing new job opportunities.
Construction of the expansion and photovoltaic installation is scheduled to begin within the year, with transparent recruitment criteria for new positions.
