Description
Comujesa, a public municipal company fully owned by the City Council of Jerez, has approved the creation of 235 new jobs to strengthen the Home Assistance Service (SAD) in Jerez, responding to a sharp rise in demand for care among the elderly and people with disabilities.
The new positions are distributed as follows: 125 full-time care assistants to manage increasing demand and process pending admissions; 100 permanent part-time assistants to cover leave and holiday periods; 8 full-time coordinators (two per district) to enhance supervision and extend service hours into evenings and Saturdays; and 2 administrative officers to support key HR functions. Additionally, two existing administrative posts have been upgraded to full-time.
The decision, ratified by the board of directors on 27 June 2025, aims to expand the service’s reach while promoting stable employment in the city.
