Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Sanitaservice will expand its workforce by 235 full-time positions in 2025, increasing from 1,420 to 1,655 FTE employees. The healthcare support company has announced this significant recruitment plan following approval of its Annual Hiring Plan, developed in accordance with regional directives and corporate budget planning.
The expansion includes 304 new public recruitment positions, some subject to approval from Puglia Region. The roles span multiple operational areas including emergency services and medical transport, auxiliary and healthcare cleaning services, maintenance and logistics support, and administrative management positions.
Additionally, internal reorganization will focus on redeploying staff deemed unfit for current duties to improve efficiency of existing human resources.
