Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Deloitte will create 700 new jobs at its Bari facility by May 2026, following the inauguration of its new headquarters at Fiera del Levante. The professional services firm has invested €75 million in the project, comprising €50 million for pavilion restructuring and €25 million for establishing a specialized artificial intelligence center.
The recruitment targets diverse profiles spanning STEM fields including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital transformation, as well as functional roles in project management, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and audit. The facility will house the "GenAI Center for Business Innovation," featuring over 70 AI experts focused on transforming business processes across energy, advanced mechanics, space economy, and other strategic sectors.
